Yo Dawg Heard You meme generator

How this meme works

A grinning man delivers a 'Yo dawg, I heard you like X' line, then puts X inside another X. The joke comes from the recursive, over-the-top logic, which treats nesting a thing within itself as a favor.

When to use it

Use it when a situation is recursive or self-referential, such as a fix that creates the same problem again or a task nested inside another task.

Where this meme comes from

The 'Yo dawg' meme features rapper Xzibit, host of MTV's Pimp My Ride, a show known for adding extravagant items to cars. It became an image macro in the late 2000s that jokes about putting something inside itself.
