Monkey Puppet meme generator

How this meme works

A puppet monkey glances sideways, then quickly looks away with a deadpan face, perfectly capturing awkward guilt or discomfort when something embarrassing or uncomfortable is brought up. The white space on top sets up the situation and the two panels deliver the reaction.

When to use it

Use it when you are caught in an awkward truth, ignoring a problem, or pretending not to notice something uncomfortable.

Where this meme comes from

The puppet comes from a Japanese children's TV program, and the clip of it glancing sideways and looking away was shared widely online. It became a popular reaction image for awkward or guilty moments.
