Look At Me meme generator

How this meme works

A man holds up two fingers toward his eyes and stares intensely, demanding total attention while delivering a blunt statement. The joke comes from applying that menacing, deadpan authority to trivial everyday situations.

When to use it

Use it when you want to deliver a firm declaration, warning or correction to someone, especially about something petty or obvious.

Where this meme comes from

This image comes from the same Captain Phillips scene as 'I'm the captain now,' with Barkhad Abdi's character gesturing toward his eyes and saying 'Look at me.' It spread as a reaction image for delivering blunt statements with exaggerated authority.
